  About Vocational Certificate Programs

As part of your four to fifteen month certificate program, you will gain the knowledge and learn the technical skills needed to help patients with various health concerns.

The goal of these short term programs is to quickly provide you with the knowledge and skills to enter the work force and progress into your chosen occupation. Supervised clinical practice is included in your program to provide patient care and on-the-job experiences and offer you the opportunity to interact with individuals in a variety of health-related professions.

The various programs are accredited by State and National Licensing and Certification Boards. The health care professions offer high-demand careers with expanding opportunities. Students completing short-term vocational credit certificate programs work in hospitals, clinics, medical offices, insurance offices, pharmaceutical outlets, schools and a variety of government and community organizations.

Financial Aid is also available to help pay for classes and other expenses. Are you interested in learning more about Miami Dade College’s Vocational Certificate Programs?
