The Developmental Education Department is committed to delivering the highest level of education to our students. In our reading classes, we help our students to understand concepts such as main idea, supporting ideas, tone, and bias which are essential tools in navigating their college classes and careers. In our writing classes, we assist our students in writing sentences, paragraphs, and essays. Our instruction is based on sound pedagogical principles and research in developmental studies.
