New Student Center
The first point of contact for new students or those transferring from another institution is the New Student Center. Meet with a preadmission advisor, and make a smoother transition to college.
The New Student Center also conducts orientation sessions prior to each semester. These sessions provide practical information including:

- Important deadlines
- Types of financial aid
- Selecting a major
- Importance of Academic Advisement and creating an academic plan
- Student Services and Academic Support such as labs
- How to get around the campus
- Student life and Student Organizations
