Spotlight on Students
So just who decides to attend Miami Dade College? There’s no easy answer to that question! The truth is that our student body is one of the most diverse in the country. Our students represent 94 countries and 41 languages. Of those, many come directly from high school. Some are pursuing a two-year degree, others want to go on to earn a Bachelor’s degree and still another group is here largely to receive training to find a better job. Here’s an opportunity for you to meet just a few of our students who came to Miami Dade straight out of high school. Their journeys will give you a greater understanding of why we at Miami Dade believe that “opportunity changes everything!”
