Spotlight on Students
So just who decides to attend Miami Dade? There’s no easy answer to that question! The truth is that our student body is one of the most diverse in the country. Our students represent 94 countries and 41 languages. Many are adult learners, just like you. Some are pursuing a two-year degree and want to go on to earn a bachelor’s degree, and still another group is here largely to receive training to find a better job or to make more money. Here’s an opportunity for you to meet just a few of our students who came to Miami Dade as adult learners. Their journeys will give you a greater understanding of why we at Miami Dade believe that “opportunity changes everything!”
