Carlos Cedano holds an Associate in Science degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Miami Dade College. He had earlier engaged in film and broadcast studies at Universidad Autonoma in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Prior to joining the Department of Arts and Philosophy, Mr. Cedano had served as Assistant Project Coordinator at RDTProduction Design in Miami, constructing sets for television shows at UPN, Univision, Telemundo and WPBT. As the Stage Manager and Light Designer for the Wolfson Campus he creates backdrops, scenic designs, and various visual effects for the many events hosted by the college. These events include performances by Prometeo Theatre, Wolfson Dancers, the Jazz at Wolfson bi-weekly series, student and faculty ensembles, group shows, and a variety of off-campus engagements. He also assists other departments and is involved in such important events as Commencement, Miami Book Fair International, and numerous Student Life events. Mr. Cedano has frequently been decorated with Presidential Excellence Awards. |
