Important Steps in Applying for Financial Aid
23-24 Academic Year
Student information (and parent information if under the age of 24)
- Social Security Number
- Your Driver’s License Number, if you have one.
- Your Alien Registration Number, if you are not a U.S. citizen.
- 2021 taxes and W-2's (if applicable)
- Untaxed income, such as Social Security benefits, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Veterans benefits.
- Information on savings, investments, businesses, and farm assets
24-25 Academic Year
- Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number if a social security is not available.
- Your Alien Registration Number, if you are not a U.S. citizen.
- 2022 taxes and W-2's (if applicable)
- Untaxed income, such as Social Security benefits, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Veterans benefits.
FAFSA Application Deadlines
2023- 2024 Academic Year
- For federal aid, application must be submitted no later than June 30, 2024
- Corrections or updates must be submitted by September 14, 2024.
2024- 2025 Academic Year
- Available December 31, 2023
- For state aid, application must be processed by May 15, 2024
