Transfer Agreement Highlights |
The Florida College System (FCS) established an articulation with DeVry University in 2009. It is intended to increase the options available to community college associate degree graduates seeking baccalaureate degrees. DeVry recognizes the Associate in Arts degree as the “2+2” transfer degree from the Florida College System. Also, specified Associate in Science and Associate of Applied science degrees will be eligible for articulation in related baccalaureate degree programs offered at DeVry. Students who transfer with an Associate in Arts degree shall enter with junior standing and all credits awarded by a community college (60 credits) will transfer to DeVry University and shall be considered as having completed the lower division general education requirements of DeVry. However, the student must meet the specific degree course requirements of DeVry University, which may extend the number of credit hours to earn the baccalaureate degree. Appropriate courses within the Associate in Science or Associate in Applied Science degrees will articulate to related baccalaureate program at DeVry. General education requirements of the community college will transfer and apply toward the DeVry general education credit hours required for the baccalaureate degree. No additional general education credit hours can be required, except to complete the total general education hours required by DeVry. |
Scholarships |
DeVry offers $25 million in scholarships annually. DeVry financial aid profes- sionals will help students create a personalized plan for funding their education and identify sources of aid for which they may qualify: federal grants, state-funded grants and scholarships, DeVry scholarships and loans, federal and private loans, etc. |
