Founded in 1891; Drexel University is a 5-year private university, with a commuter campus in a very large city. Drexel University is nationally recognized for its cooperative education and internship programs. Beginning in the second year, students alternate periods of classroom study with periods of paid professional employment, gaining up to 18 months of real-world experience. Drexel University offers a broad range of majors: Allied Health, Business, Engineering, Information Science, Nursing, and many more. |
Transfer Agreement Highlights |
Students may transfer to Drexel’s nationally recognized programs in business, engineering, information science, nursing, and allied health, allowing them to gain a solid college education and professional experience. Ten scholarships for up to $8,000 a year are available for eligible students. |
Scholarships |
Drexel University assures the acceptance of any MDCC student who has earned an AA with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Students interested in the College of Media Arts and Design will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and acceptance will be issued if space and the academic profile of applicants permits. A maximum of ten (10) applicants with a 3.5 Grade Point Average will be eligible for scholarships in amounts up to $8,000 per year. Applicants must apply prior to March 1st of their anticipated year of entry to Drexel University. |
