The 36-year old Puerto Rican engineering, architecture and business university opened its Miami, Florida campus to offer programs in 2002. It is a fully accredited university, ranked #2 in the nation for graduating Hispanics in Engineering, Sciences and Technology. It offers bachelor's degrees, master's programs and Microsoft certification programs. |
Transfer Agreement Highlights |
Students from MDC may transfer with their Associate in Arts degree and with at least a 2.7 cumulative Grade Point Average and with a 3.0 GPA in the area of concentration to the Polytechnic University of the Americas Bachelor program. The programs offered are: Computer Science, Business Administration, and Computer Engineering. Annually, five (5) tuition scholarships are available for students with a 3.2 GPA for 60 credits and 3.5 GPA in the area of concentration. |
Scholarships |
Polytec offers five (5) tuition scholarships a year to students with a minimum overall GPA in 60 Credit hours and a minimum of 3.5 GPA in concentration courses. Students who wish to be considered for this scholarship must apply for financial assistance. |
