Description |
---|
General education requirements at MDC are applied toward the equivalent lower division general education requirements which the university offers. |
Transfer Agreement Highlights |
The Southeast Florida Education Engineering Consortium provides a mechanism to increase the number of students
in engineering, allowing students to complete an undergraduate degree in engineering in the same time frame as
students who begin their education in a 4-year program.
The Southeast Florida Education Engineering Consortium facilitates articulation for students who begin their engineering studies at two-year schools with plans of earning their bachelor’s degrees in engineering at two state universities—FAU and FIU. A common set of prerequisites that will transfer into any engineering program has been established. |
Scholarships |
Transfer students who apply for scholarships must meet the eligibility requirements of the institution in terms of recognized outstanding achievement/exceptional academic accomplishments, as merit-based scholarships are awarded in limited numbers. However, in many cases, qualified students may receive a financial aid package which includes several types of financial assistance - scholarships and grants, low-interest loans, and employment opportunities. |
