Transfer Agreement Highlights |
The agreement establishes an Engineering Transfer program for Miami Dade College student who attain an Associate in Arts (AA) degree in pre-engineering to transfer to the College of Engineering at the University of Miami. Students participating in this program may seek a degree from any engineering degree-granting program at UM’s College of Engineering.
Participating students must complete an AA degree at Miami Dade College. The 60 credit-hours must include all the courses specified in the Appendix with a grade of "C" or better in each course in order for the course to transfer to University of Miami. |
Scholarships |
UM’s College of Engineering offers five tuition scholarships a year for students transferring from Miami Dade College. The scholarships will be offered to those students accepted to UM’s College of Engineering with a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 3.2 in the 60 credit hours, and a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5 in the math and sciences courses specified in the Appendix. |
