What is this?

Social bookmarking allows you to manage and share your bookmarks online with the use of keyword tagging. Unlike storing bookmarks in your web browser, social bookmarks are stored online enabling them to be accessed from any computer. Social bookmarking brings many enhancements to traditional bookmarking since it allows you to search through your bookmarks as well as to share your bookmarks with others. In many cases, social bookmarking sites allow you to designate your bookmark as either public or private and can even have varying degrees of visibility for each designation.
