This week our Board of Trustees confirmed our commitment to advance our strategic priorities when it approved the College’s FY 2022-23 Fiscal Budget.
This financial plan advances our pledge to support our world-class faculty and staff who are the driving force behind student success. In furthering our focus on a culture of care for our valued MDC employees, I’m pleased to announce the College incorporated in this approved budget a 3% increase in compensation for full-time faculty and staff.
The approved budget will also continue to provide MDC with unparalleled access to our entire community by eliminating financial and institutional barriers for our students through programs such as the Presidential Scholars and the Rising Black Scholars. As the community’s talent engine, MDC will continue to drive the education pipeline by expanding its offerings in certificates, badges, industry certifications, and workforce training programs that fulfill the increased demands in fields such as Nursing and Cybersecurity.
