We are just a few days away from the most exciting time of the year for our institution! This year, nearly 12,000 students representing 107 nationalities and over 50 different languages will receive degrees at this weekend’s three commencement ceremonies. As we prepare to celebrate the commitment and academic achievements of thousands of our students, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible dedication and hard work that has brought us to this momentous occasion.
To our students, on behalf of MDC, I want to extend a heartfelt congratulations on this amazing accomplishment. The journey to graduation has not been an easy one, but through your determination, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence, you have made it to this moment. This is an accomplishment that you should be proud of, and we, as an MDC community, are proud of you.
I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to our world-class faculty and staff members for their unwavering support and guidance throughout their academic journey. Your commitment to our students’ success has been integral to their accomplishments and has helped to shape leaders who will go on to make an impact in our community and beyond.
Let us not forget the family and friends who have supported our students along the way. Their love and encouragement have helped our students overcome obstacles and reach this incredible feat in their pursuit of higher education. This celebration is not just for our students, but for all those who have played a role in their success.
