The Learning Spot
Overseen by the English and Communication Department, the Learning Spot is an academic support center for currently enrolled Miami Dade College students. Located in room 2301, the center has computers, printers, a copier, workstations, lounge areas, and study rooms for student use. Available computer software programs include the Adobe and Microsoft suites. The computers also have the LockDown browser should students need to take a test. The Learning Spot houses the Reading & Writing Center as well as the campus's propagation station. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to donate and adopt plant cuttings throughout the year.
