Founded in 1989, Beacon College is a four-year accredited, private college that offers academic programs exclusively to students with language-based learning disabilities, or ADD/ADHD. It also serves LD gifted. Beacon offers comprehensive educational support services and a collegiate atmosphere that recognizes accomplishment while fostering lifelong learning. It offers AA degrees and Bachelors with majors in Computer Information Systems, Liberal Studies, Family and Social Work. |
Transfer Agreement Highlights |
An articulation agreement between the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) and the Florida Division of Community Colleges establishes uniform conditions between both educational systems for an effective and orderly transfer process for community college students completing an Associate in Arts degree and transferring to an independent college or university in Florida. |
Scholarships |
A variety of scholarships, grants, loans and work opportunities are available to eligible students. Students are encouraged to apply for aid by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Beacon College Financial Aid Application. |
