Founded in 1834 and chartered as a four-year liberal arts college in 1912, Wheaton College offers a personalized academic experience leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in more than 40 majors and 50 minors. Wheaton College´s unique "Connections" program allows student to study subjects from multiple academic perspectives, as well as internships, research and service which provide a broad view of the world of knowledge. |
Transfer Agreement Highlights |
Wheaton College will award up to two full years of credit to any graduate of MDC´s Honors College for courses taken and applicable to a liberal arts degree. While the General Education curricula of the two institutions differ, MDC graduates typically will enter Wheaton with junior status. Only courses with grades between "A" and "C" will be accepted for credit: courses with grades below "C" will not transfer. A list of transferable courses can be found in the section MDC Courses that Articulate to Wheaton College or Earning a Degree. Wheaton College will take special steps to ensure a smooth transition for MDC students, providing them with additional academic and personal support, guidance and mentorship throughout their time at the college. |
Scholarships |
Wheaton college will give special consideration to MDC Honors College students, and is committed to providing competitive financial aid packages to MDC students in acknowledgement of their academic achievement and potential to contribute to cultural diversity on the campus.
