stress reliefThe Zen of the Holidays!

Merryle Parns, MS,ARNP

 Be present in the moment.
It is not so much about ‘doing,’ as it is about ‘being.’
Maintain balance.
Play, embrace your inner child.
Rest, this is a welcomed break.
The greatest gifts cannot be measured; they are from the heart.
Nourish your soul; rediscover your passion.
Spend time loving, caring and doing what makes you happy.
Don’t indulge your negative thoughts; acknowledge their presence,
and then let them go.
Let the essence and energy of the season be a positive force.
As the Tao Te Ching says:
     Be content with what you have;
     Rejoice in the way things are.
     When you realize there in nothing lacking,
    The whole world belongs to you.
