AMCA - American Medical Certification Association

The American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) was established in 2010 with a vision of enhancing the allied healthcare industry by providing national certification exams that validate the knowledge and expertise of professionals in this field. The AMCA collaborates and actively participates in the allied healthcare industry to serve as a support network for allied healthcare professionals. The AMCA has maintained membership in various organizations to strengthen its ties to the industry. 

The AMCA is committed to bringing the value of certification to the forefront for its test sites and candidates. It is AMCA's mission to deliver high-quality certifications combined with superior customer service.  AMCA has partnered with over 970 test sites in 44 states and 13 countries

The AMCA continues to provide FREE study materials and practice tests, FREE job placement assistance, FREE instructor testing, along with comprehensive reporting and our top-quality customer service.

For tests proctored by Miami Dade College for external vendors, under certain circumstances, arrangements for auxiliary aids and modifications may be available to students. For these tests, auxiliary aids and modifications are subject solely to the testing vendors availability, policies and approval.

Instructions for Auxiliary Aids and Modifications:

  1. Candidate sends documentation to test vendor.
  2. Test vendor evaluates the candidate's documentation.
  3. Test vendor determines the candidate's test accommodations.
  4. Test vendor informs candidate of accommodations and schedules test.

Test vendor informs Testing Center of candidate's accommodations and sends test materials for test day.

Note:  Examinees must be checked-in and seated by the time scheduled in order to begin the test. Examinees will then have adequate time to finish the test in a reasonable period or within the Hours of Operation.
