Student Life

The Department of Student Life helps support Miami Dade College's primary purpose of enriching the minds and lives of its students. We help promote the intellectual, cultural, personal, and social development of students. Student Life accomplishes this mission by:

  • Providing programs and services that support students as they evaluate personal values, grow intellectually, build leadership skills, and create strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Providing assistance and services to promote diversity, cultural richness, and the full membership of all students within the College community.
  • Responding to the different needs of students at their varying stages of intellectual, social, and personal development.
  • Preparing students to be informed and active citizens within our community.

Student Life and diversity at Miami Dade College are  intertwined. Each of our seven campuses and two centers offer a unique perspective on life at Miami Dade College along with services and resources available to our students.
