Jared Gold’s emergence as one of New York’s most in-demand Hammond B-3 organists stems from years of dedication and respect to his craft.

With such influences as Larry Young, Larry Goldings, Jack McDuff and Don Patterson, he has molded a unique philosophy based on extending harmonies and solidifying groove. Versatility has provided Gold the opportunity to work with such esteemed musicians as John Abercrombie, Dave Stryker, Kevin Mahogany, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Jimmy Ponder and Oliver Lake.

As a leader, Gold has six CDs on Posi-Tone Records. The latest, entitled Intuition, has received wide-ranging acclaim, with write-ups in Jazz Times and DownBeat magazines. He also has been included numerous times in DownBeat's Rising Star awards.
