Students at Miami Dade

Miami Dade College’s online application makes it quick and easy to apply. After you complete the online application, please make sure you submit your high school transcript to the Registrar’s Office.

Tips for students:

Applying at MDC

If you have questions about any portion of the application, contact our Call Center at 305 237 8888, or Ask MDC.

  1. The application will ask you what major you are interested in pursuing. Learn more about majors and degree options.
  2. You’ll also need to provide information about your Florida residency. This is important because Florida residents pay lower tuition rates than non-residents. Learn more about Florida residency requirements.
  3. Before you apply, take a few minutes to think about which campus you would like to attend. (You can take your general education courses at any campus, except the Medical Center Campus because it specializes in only health-related courses.) There is a box on the application to indicate your campus preference. To find the address of a specific campus, go to Campus Finder.
  4. Your online application will ultimately be sent to the campus you specify. Regardless of which campus you choose, you may take classes throughout the entire Miami Dade College system.
  5. If any portion of your application needs further action, we will let you know.

To apply to our prestigious Honors College, you will need to complete the Miami Dade College admission application as well as a separate form for The Honors College. Learn more about The Honors College.
