Student Teaching

As you approach the end of your Miami Dade College School of Education program, you have two exciting opportunities: the traditional Student Teaching Internship or the Teacher Candidate Residency Program. These experiences represent the capstone of your preparation as a knowledgeable, reflective practitioner and emerging leader who conducts themselves ethically and professionally.

Both the Student Teaching Internship and the Teacher Candidate Residency Program offer numerous opportunities to enhance the knowledge, skills, and dispositions you've cultivated as an active participant in the Miami Dade College School of Education. Additionally, you will engage in weekly seminars to discuss and reflect on your progress and mastery of the Pre-Professional Florida Educator Accomplished Practices.
