School for Advanced Studies

SAS is a nationally recognized collegiate high school of excellence. Students complete their last two years of high school while attending MDC. Honors College

Your Pathway to Greatness Begins at Homestead Honors. The Honors College is pleased to announce and welcome a new class at the Homestead Campus. This new campus will be the fifth Honors Campus at Miami Dade College and will begin accepting students in Fall 2022. The Honors College at MDC is a challenging and rigorous program of study that draws top high- school graduates in the region. Students earn an Associate in Arts degree, with Honors, and continue on to the finest colleges and universities in the nation. Join a select group of students who are guided by dedicated faculty and directors to develop their highest potential as scholars, professionals and citizens of the world.

New Student Success Center

Opening soon…a new Student Success Center which is a 60,000 square foot, 4-story building housing: Admissions & Registration, Financial Aid, ACCESS, Advisement, Bursar, Testing, the bookstore, classrooms and computer labs. It will also include a dedicated conference space and an art gallery for showcasing student and community artists.

While admission to the college of your choice is not guaranteed, the Florida Statewide Articulation Agreement does guarantee upper division admission to a state college or university in Florida when you earn an A.A. degree.
