The physical abilities test (PAT) is one component of the entry-level selection process for the position of Law Enforcement officer. Follow the steps below to register:
STEP ONE – Download the Law Enforcement PAT packet and complete all the required fillable fields on the form.
STEP TWO – Once you complete all the fillable fields on the form, please print the Law Enforcement PAT package.
STEP THREE – Call your doctor’s office to request an appointment to have him or her fill out the Physician’s Medical Consent form. Your doctor MUST include his or her license number and/or stamp the document so that we know they have given proper consent.
STEP FOUR – Email NAC@mdc.edu to request your appointment date.
STEP FOUR – Call the North Campus, Bursar’s Office to make your payment or pay in-person.
NOTE - If testing for another law enforcement agency, it is the responsibility of the applicant to check that they accept the PAT from Miami Dade College.
