Program Overview

This curriculum is taught at the Miami Animation and Gaming International Complex (MAGIC). It's an intensive, hands-on program where students will develop skills in modeling, lighting, motion, and sound, while learning how to tell a compelling story. This degree provides a core computing education while at the same time training students in the technical and creative skills required in today’s highly competitive animation industry.

Students will be mentored by industry professionals from leading production houses, who will guide them to complete a short, animated project while following the typical production pipeline of a professional studio.

The A.S. degree is designed for students who are looking for immediate entry into a career upon graduation. Most discipline courses directly relate to the identified career area. The remaining courses are comprised of general education courses.
