Job Fair
About the Job Fair
All graduates of the four day job training program are eligible to attend the Job Fair where they can meet employers from the hospitality and tourism industry that include hotels (Doubletree Grand, Opera Suites & Marina, Hyatt, Hilton, Ritz Carlton, Fontainebleau,etc.), restaurants (Starbucks, Mario the Baker, Jackson Soul Food, etc.), attractions (Jungle Island, American Airlines Arena,etc.), retail (Miami to Go,etc.), building management (The Continental Group). Approximately 20-30 employers attend the Job Fair.
A number of employers request that the graduates apply on line and South Florida WorkForce provides their mobile unit which contains 12 computers. To access the job postings, all graduates are required to register in advance with www.employflorida.com.
Job Fair hours are 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Alumni from previous Hospitality Institute Job Training programs are eligible to attend the Job Fair if they are pre-registered.
