For MDC students and employees with ID, Children 6 & under, Active U.S. military, Veterans, Visitors identifying as disabled (plus caregiver)
Directions & Public Transit
By Car: The Tower is located at 600 Biscayne Blvd, in downtown Miami near MDC’s Wolfson Campus. Street parking is available at nearby metered spots and public garages; expect higher rates on peak or event days.
By Public Transit: Take the free Metromover to the Freedom Tower station (Omni Loop), which opens directly onto the Tower plaza. The Government Center Metrorail station is just a short walk away and connects to Metrobus and TriRail lines.
By Brightline Train: Arrive at MiamiCentral Station, just a 5-minute walk or quick Metromover ride to the Freedom Tower. Brightline offers express service from Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Orlando.
Parking Options
- Onstreet metered parking surrounds the site—check posted hours and rates.
- Nearby garages can be reserved via SpotHero, including lots at Miami Worldcenter and College Station near the Tower.
- MDC garages (e.g. near Wolfson Campus) offer additional parking options; check websites for event or member pricing MOAD.

- The facility is fully wheelchair accessible.
- Restrooms and seating areas on each floor.
- Gift shop available inside the Tower
- Audio tours and Spanish language guides available on-site
Tips for Visiting
- Arrive early to avoid crowds and allow time to explore exhibitions
- Pack light—especially bags; secure items if possible
- Dress comfortably and wear walking shoes; some gallery floors are uneven due to structural preservation
- Plan transit in advance—Metromover can fill up quickly on busy evenings; Uber/Lyft and taxis are also easy to find downtown
