Connect and Preserve
Do you or your family have a personal connection to the Freedom Tower? Ahead of its centennial, Miami Dade College is gathering stories that reflect the building’s lasting impact on individuals and communities.
These stories span its many chapters—from its origins as a newspaper headquarters and printing plant, to its historic role as the Cuban Refugee Center, to its recent presence as home to the Miami Book Fair, Miami Film Festival, Live Arts Miami, the Museum of Art and Design, the Cuban Legacy Gallery, and the Kislak Center.
Share your story and help preserve the legacy of this landmark for future generations.
