This College Credit Certificate (CCC) in Mental Health - Neuroscience and Aging is designed to prepare students to meet community needs and industry demands in the field of mental health services with a diverse aging population. It will contribute to the enhancement and improvement in the delivery of mental health services for the diverse older population in the Miami-Dade County.

Program Details

This certificate is intended as a training for workforce readiness entry position and/or to upskill in working with older population and/or preparation for students considering in pursuing a graduate degree in the field of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience and/or gerontology. The specialized courses with emphasis in neuroscience and aging align with current trends in the field of mental health and get students ready to be effective in meeting industry demands.
