Admission requirements for Health Science Medical Laboratory Science Concentration Bachelor of Applied Science

To be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (BAS-CLS) applicants must:

Be admitted to Miami Dade College
Submit a departmental application by the published deadline
Possess an Associate in Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from a regionally accredited program. The program must be accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) and include clinical rotations.
Possess Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist(MT).
Possess Florida licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician/ Technologist.
Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
