Request Florida residency before registering for classes
If you want to save money, it’s important to establish your Florida residency for tuition purposes because residents receive a significant discount on tuition at MDC. Florida residents can earn a two-year degree at MDC for about half of what it would cost at a four-year state college. Even if you’ve always been a Florida resident, you still have to submit the paperwork. Don’t skip this important step. It’s a good investment in your future.
